But four year olds just aren't ready for the full on magic shows that 5,6 and 7 year olds get right into. My 4 year old show still has lots of fun magic however it's age appropriate and based around the things 4 year olds are familiar with: colours, nursery ryhmes and animals. There's still lots of audience participation EXCEPT rather than bringing individuals up to help me, the little ones are far more comfortable joining in as a group, from where they are sitting. Why? This allows their short attention spans to come in and out of the onstage antics. Of course I still do invite some volunteers up to help but this way the show keeps rolling along. In particular the birthday child still has their special cameo spot at the end of the show. See photos of kids having their special moment
And when you get me back for their 5th, 6th or 7th birthday - which happens a lot - the children relive some of their old favourites PLUS enjoy the hilarious tricks that have made me a favourite at slightly older boys and girls' parties of Brisbane.
