Brisbane Magician Julian and his Big RED Box of Magic has the perfect older kids party shows. These are the Secret Agent Magic Show and Julian's Bag of Incredibility show.
Both these magic shows have a lot more challenging magic tricks than the younger 4-7 year old magic shows. They love to be challenged and they love challenging the magician. It's all part of the fun. They go nutso for this sort of humour. Maybe you need other children's entertainment. Julian has educational school shows and vacation care shows as well. The best place to start is Julian's homepage where everything is laid out for you. I pay particular attention to the birthday child and personalise tricks so they feel special. I encourage active participation but NEVER force any child into any situation that's uncomfortable for them. My shows are an EFZ (embarrassment free zone).
