HOW MANY CHILDREN CAN I INVITE?

There is no limit. The more the merrier. Most good children's entertainers have a self contained, battery operated PA system which means EVERYONE can hear. Battery operated is important so there are no power cables to trip over.

INSIDE OR OUTSIDE?

Inside is better but outside is OK. Just remember party entertainers need shade too. If it's too hot for the kids, it's too hot for me. Wind is no ones friend at a party.

HOW BIG AN AREA DO YOU NEED?

An average sitting room is fine. Just allow two big paces from the wall.

WHEN SHOULD I START THE SHOW?

Half an hour after the party starts. There are ALWAYS latecomers.

WHAT IF THERE IS MORE THAN ONE BIRTHDAY CHILD?

Easy, it's then double or triple the fun. Making the birthday child feel special is a big part of a successful kid's party. Good children's performers have their strategies for twins, triplets and even quads.

MY CHILD IS SHY. WILL THEY BE OVERWHELMED?

Not at all. Most good party magicians are very good at reading children and tread lightly. This is a great chance for your child to get positive male influence. Schools scream out for this.

CAN I SERVE FOOD DURING THE SHOW? It's your party, you can do what you like BUT it's so much better if you don't. The kids have a better experience. They don't NEED the food.

DO YOU HAVE A LIVE RABBIT?

Definitely not. It is cruel to put a living animal in a dark 'secret compartment' in HOT Brisbane temperatures. Parents have also told me they are worried the rabbits could bring diseases into their home. If the rabbit is the thing the children remember most from the show then it doesn't say much about the rest of that performer's repertoire

SHOULD I PUT OUT CHAIRS FOR THE CHILDREN?

No. Your children will have a much better show if they are sitting on the floor. It's all about audience dynamics. Trust me on this.

DO YOU NEED ME TO PROVIDE ANYTHING?

Only one thing ... a gaggle of excited children. Most kids party magicians are completely self contained to let you get on with the things YOU need to attend to.
