Mysterious would be one way to describe David Blaine magician of street magic fame. What is street magic? Instead of a magician doing a magic show for an audience that has a beginning, a middle, and an end, performers of street magic like to catch people as they are going about their business then fry their minds with one knock 'em down trick, then leave.

It became very popular with David Blaine's TV specials. Street Magic can be really fun and it has helped create some very clever young magicians. It does have one drawback though. You wouldn't want to think about making it your job as people won't pay you anything for bedazzling them for a minute as they take their groceries to the car.

Street magic encourages you to do tricks with everyday objects which is good as that makes it an easy and cheap way to perform some magic.

It also takes a bit of guts to walk up to people you don't know and ask them to watch a trick. Do you think you could do that? It's not easy but you can learn how to do it.
