Easy Magic Tricks That are Easy to Perform and Free.

If you have fun learning these magic tricks your audience will have fun too.

Here we go again. Easy magic tricks have many things going for them.

Quite often they are cheap to make. That's always a good thing.

They don't take long learn and practise. I like the sound of that too.

Best of all they allow you to spend more time on 'presenting' your tricks. Instead of worrying about the special moves you can be thinking about the really important stuff like keeping a big smile on your face, looking people in the eye as you talk to them, speaking clearly and thinking about how you are holding your body as you perform. We will talk about all these in detail later.

For the moment let's talk about making a magic act from things that you can find around the house or at the local shop.

When I first started doing magic I travelled a lot by plane so I had to keep my magic show down to a small case that I could carry with me onto the plane. This was one of the best things to ever happen to me. It made me think about choosing tricks that I could easily buy bits and pieces for when I got to where I was going.

Things like bits of rope and string, paper bags, handkerchiefs. Much of my shows today still use the same sort of stuff. Sure, big fancy magic props are nice but you don't NEED them to keep an audience entertained. And that's today's tip for you - Bigger is not always better in magic
