Being a Kid Magician
takes a lot more than just being able to do fancy card tricks.

Just as a Stage Illusionist must be graceful and elegant, a kid magician must be an expert at understanding children: Their psychology, what makes them laugh, how to keep their attention. Being a children's magician is not easy if you don't have what it takes which is why so many magicians are terrified by the thought of performing for five minutes in front of children, let alone forty minutes which is the standard length for a children's magic show Why? Because that's the attention span of a child. That's why school lessons are about forty mintues long.

Being a children's magician is very rewarding and a lot of fun but you have to be the right sort of person to do it.
