At a bit over one hundred pages in length and printed in the large paperback format, you'd think there's not that much room between its covers for lots of information. Well in true magical style that is just an illusion.

This small book is overflowing with really good USABLE and ROAD TESTED material that you can put straight into your shows.

The audience he plays to seems mainly under 6 year old, though much of it is adaptable to any age because it has such high entertainment value. There's a great mixture of tips and hints right through to entire routines.

The first chapter covers your equipment, setting it up, keeping it clean and presentable, warming up your audience and a whole lot of tips about your clothing and what you can do with it to add to your entertainment value.

Then there is the first of the full routines titled 'Fifteen minutes with Thumb Tip and wands.' I already have my own routines based around these items but that didn't stop me finding about three really good ideas that I could, and do, incorporate into my act. This is really well thought out material which comes from years of being a popular and full time children's entertainer.

More Kids Think Its Funny gems come from the chapters on sponge balls, monkey bar, professor's nightmare, professor cheer's comedy rope routine and Rocky Racoon. Sprinkle that with running gag ideas and some very funny things to say.

The chapter on balloon twisting for money is superb; it's just so useful. You are getting the benefit of his years of hard trial and error. This small chapter saved me a lot of grief in my early forays into balloon twisting. If you are thinking of twisting for a living then just get this book for these ten or so pages alone.

Kids Think Its Funny is the sort of book you should get. I've said this quite a few times before but it's worth repeating over and over: ANYTIME a working professional tips his/her material in a book or DVD you should just buy it. You will always get your money back through more bookings.

I love this little book. My copy has underlining on almost every page, it is dog eared, falling apart and has post it notes sticking out everywhere. If you like the sort of stuff I do here at Julian's Magician School, you will REALLY LIKE Kids Think Its Funny.
