Magic Shop Brisbane

If you are looking for a magic shop Brisbane the short answer is Brisbane doesn't have one. But hang in there, I can help you.

My name is Julian and his Big RED Box of Magic and I've been performing magic for over 15 years. Not having a magic shop in Brisbane hasn't stopped me from making a living. So where do you go for your magic tricks, books and DVD's if you live in SE Queensland?

First up, let me deal with the often asked question I get:

Looking for a magic book for your 8- 16 year old? I highly recommend this...

Now, if you you live in Brisbane or Gold Coast, and want to get something local, then call Stu Tyson from EVERYONE CAN DO MAGIC (tell him Julian sent you) on 0438 199 633 and he will give you great ideas for beginner magic tricks and Christmas and Birthday gift ideas for any budding magicians in your house. Stu is based in and operates from Brisbane so speed and back up sales service is a guaranteed.

The closest bricks and mortar magic store is Insane Magic http://www.insanemagic.com.au/ Shop 43 Greenway Drive Tweed Heads South NSW 2486 (07) 5523 2263 They have a good range for beginners.

Both The Magic Vault at Helensvale and Taylor's Magic Shop in Sydney have both closed their doors and now run online sales only.

Taylor's Magic Shop is worthy of your support. Sean Taylor who runs the shop does a lot to help the magic community in Australia thrive and grow. Buying from Taylor's means you help keep magic alive in Australia.

Magic Shop Brisbane

The internet is full of online magic stores, may of them in the USA. My suggestion is you try and get what you want from Australian magic stores first but if you can't then my recommendation is

Magic Trick Store 468X60

I've had very good service from them, postage normally takes 5 -7 days, they have a big range and their online payment seems secure enough.

Another way to get magic tricks in Brisbane is to subscribe to my blog and I'll let you know when there are magic lectures coming to town. (just to the left in the blue box, see it)

Visiting magicians from around the world lecture on their new tricks and have them for sale. If you haven't met anyone in the magic scene, come along to a lecture, ask for me, and I'll introduce you around and make you feel welcome. The cost is usually $25 to enter.

If you are thinking of buying a trick and you're not sure about it, use the contact box on this website and I'll try and help you out by giving you my opinion.

You can call me on 0408 827 974 if you want more info about the lectures.

Have you seen the Illusionists magic show? If it ever comes to Brisbane, just pay your money and get a ticket. It doesn't get better than this.
