The magic wand is such a recognised symbol of magicians and their work. Most magicians, even if they never use one in their performing life, would own at least one that they purchased when they started out doing magic.
They are standard fare with children's magicians and entertainers. I won't go into the technical reasons that make a magic wand a very useful tool - that's the topic of another magic video - but I will describe some of the common comedy ones that most kids magicians use.

What happens if you are caught out without the tools of your trade? Here's an easy to make comedy one that might just get you out of trouble.
I call it the Wand That Goes Moo . The original idea came from a Martin Gardner book (I think??). In that book it was presented as a novelty called the Moo Horn. I just added the premise that is was a magic wand that went moo. So all credit goes to him.
Watch the video and you will see that you can turn this into a challenge by having the other person try to make the cow noise. They won't be able to. Just to keep things hygenic, if you are passing the rolled tube of paper between paper, just snip off the blowing end with scissors each time.
